Cath Kidston has a range of new season prints available for her classic day bag designs. New floral, spot, paisley and many other decoratively patterned bags are available for 2011. Especial favourites are Cath's carry-all and tote bags in wipe clean durable oilcloth. The other popular Cath Kidston option is the enzyme-washed cotton tote bag: relaxed, pretty, durable and extremely practical.

Brought up in a colourful home heavily influenced by decorative rose prints, Cath Kidston chose from the start to adopt this look for the 21st century. Kidston has drawn on previous success stories like Laura Ashley with her traditional principles and made them her own to create a vintage look which hit the mainstream at just the right moment. In 2008 she collaborated with Tesco to produce printed eco shopping bags made from plastic bottles to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The bags raised over £400,000 for the charity and saved almost 6 million plastic bottles from landfill.
