SMYTHSON 2009 BAGS

From the iconic Nancy bag to the must-have Maze, beautifully crafted
Smythson leather handbags combine timeless quality and innovative
design, to stand the test of time season after season.
News 08/09: Smythson have just released the Nancy Zip Bag,
a fresh take on a modern classic for Autumn/Winter 09. Featuring the
original Nancy Bag's signature hand-riveted quilting on a young,
deconstructed lightweight shoulder bag design, it is the ultimate day
bag for the girl-about-town. The Nancy Zip is available in three
shades, classic Black, rich Aubergine and Cobalt Blue.
Last season's Smythson
Maze bag has been updated as an all goatskin leather collection for
Spring Summer in Chalk and Grey. The supple leather has been treated
and cracked leaving a vintage, glazed finish that compliments the
wonderfully slouchy feel to the bags. Lined in peach satin, the bags
feature an enamel hinge clasp in light brushed gold on the envelope
pocket. The collection sees the introduction of the Maze satchel.

DESIGNER BRITAIN REVIEW
Smythson of Bond Street is one of the
great British success stories in the luxury goods industry over the
last twenty years. The brand has continued to prosper under independent
ownership and highly individualistic design direction. Smythson offers
customers a 21st century vision of leather craftsmanship, while
retaining all the positive aspects inherent in the British tradition.
One of the few independent British brands left with a flagship shop on
New Bond Street, Smythson has now connected with a new generation of
luxury goods shoppers who view it as a cool, high end, fashionable
brand. Smythson has also always taken the Internet seriously, and the
smythson.com is comparatively advanced in its scope and interactive
options for customers.
